"Creating a Cabrita Reis in Vista Alegre, or a Vista Alegre by Cabrita Reis.
It was his taste for "decorative arts that led Pedro Cabrita Reis, one of the greatest contemporary Portuguese artists, to take ownership of a shape from Vista Alegre's portfolio. A ceramic "canvas in which one could, from a new perspective, explore some primordial sense.
"I like things that endure in time, he says. De Natura reveals that perennial character through the simplicity of the shape, in perfect harmony with the gold-plated design.
A noble element which is used to evoke timeless universality, crossing many cultures and eras. The balance between the essential lines and the graphic detachment, distances us from any sort of narrative and places us in the soothing nature.
De Natura is in total harmony with the work of an artist deeply invested in leaving a legacy. A small part of which now has come to enrich Vista Alegre's heritage.
Numbered and Limited to 500 copies - 19th creation of Contemporary Artists Project.
CRIAÇÃO DO MUNDO
Centrepiece Criação do Mundo. A contemporary interpretation of the passage from the Book of Genesis, on the creation of the world in seven days.
ENHANCED WITH GOLD
height 6.3 cm
Diameter 38.5 cm
A contemporary interpretation of the passage from the Book of Genesis, on the creation of the world in seven days.
This centrepiece is divided into two distinct parts. On the front you have a representation of God in the centre, surrounded by the six days of the Creation of the World. The back of the piece is decorated with the transcripts from the Bible, in Latin, referring to each of the days, duly numbered, up to seven.
The illustrations, on the front of the piece, are delimited by a horizon line, so as to strengthen the duplicity of the mythical elements: light and darkness; night and day; the skies and the seas; the birds and fish, which, as a whole, form a sphere representing the world.
Ravello is presented as the sixteenth piece of the Contemporary Artists Project PAC, designed by the Portuguese painter and ceramist Manuel Cargaleiro.
Its name derives from the head office of the Fondazione Museo Manuel Cargaleiro, in Palazzo Tola in Milan.
Ravello is a reflection of the international projection of the artist and of that city of intense beauty, colour and light.
Case with Double Black Centrepiece by Catherine Wheel
The doublé crystal technique again shines in this remarkable centerpiece. Catherine Wheel displays an outer layer in colored glass and an inner layer in clear crystal. The cut of the first layer reveals the clear crystal, creating an unusual contrast between the two strata. Evoking a wind vane, this piece is inspired by a type of circular firework: when lit, an angled rocket mounted with a pin through its center rotates quickly, emitting a display of sparks and colorful flames.

Centrepiece Mariinsky. Mara Dolinskaia was a ballet dancer at the Mariinsky Opera and Ballet Theatre in St. Petersburg and is the grandmother of the designer Katya, who was inspired by her grandmother to honour the stars of classical dance of the 1920's.
In a continuous movement performed by Mara, Katya portrays scenic characteristics, the extravagant wardrobe of that time and the roses of the ball scene in "The Queen of Spades by Tchaikovsky, among other elements that transport us to a universe full of life, colour and creativity.
